In 1978 when I started my restoration business numerous craftspeople were able to fix a clock mechanism and have it run, yet few understood or could fulfill the demand among collectors and antiquarian connoisseurs for one who could sympathetically restore antique clocks, their cases and dials while protecting original parts and mechanisms and without removing the functional and artistic “character” of their valuable antique. Mechanical repairs to clocks were done almost exclusively at my studio, while other professionals throughout the country and beyond would aid in the more esoteric skills needed for various tasks involved for complete professional restorations.

Now, more than 40 years later, I still attend to challenging clock restorations, with a private studio located in the Philadelphia area. Should you the reader have a fine antique that needs restoration of repair, or if you just have a question about a repair or restoration, please give me a call or send on an email.
